I hope that everyone had a great weekend, especially if you were fortunate enough to have yesterday off to observe Veteran's Day. I am so grateful for all of the men and women who have and continue to fight for our freedoms every single day! They are so brave and amazing!!!
This year I am trying to work on finding new tools and ways to get my students to become more efficient in solving story problems in math. So my teammates and I sat down and came up with a rubric that we thought would be fun for our students but also help them towards moving towards using more efficient strategies to solve math story problems.
I hope that you're able to use it and see a change in your students thinking of strategies!
